At Bunnies Daycare we have a long standing staff team who are dedicated to providing high quality care for the children we look after. 

Are minimum staffing ratios are 1:3 for 0-2 years, 1:4 for 2-3 years and 1:8 for children over 3 years. However these are the minimum staff to child ratios and we try to keep staffing levels higher wherever possible. All staff employed at out nursery will have been CRB or DBS checked to ensure there suitability to work with children. 


David Thompson: Proprietor 

David is the director of Bunnies Daycare LTD. David oversees all legal and regulatory matters and managers the finance for the company. 


Amy Tildesley: Manager 

Amy holds a degree in BA Early Years. She manages jointly all aspects of the nursery as well as being the nursery's SENCO and child protection officer. Amy has worked in the nursery for 11 years, has two children and has worked her way up to the managers position.  


Lisa Caley: Manager (currently on maternity leave)

Lisa works with Amy to manage the nursery and holds a level 3 in Early Years Childcare and Education. Lisa has worked in the nursery for 8 years and previously held the role of Deputy Manager.


Layla Wade: Baby Room Leader and Deputy manager

Layla joined Bunnies in September 2015 as our baby room leader. She will be the main member of staff working with our under two's and holds a level 3 diploma in Early Years and Childcare. 


Laura Spink: Nursery Nurse 

Laura joined Bunnies in December 2016 and is qualified to level 3. She will be working in our toddler and preschool room and has had previous experience working as a children's holiday rep.


Chelsea Sparkes: Nursery Nurse 

Chelsea joined bunnies in June 2015. She will be working with our toddlers and preschool. While with us Chelsea has been completing her aprentiship and completed this in June 2017, she is now qualified to level 3. 


Georgie Munford: Bank Staff

Georgie is qualified to level two and comes in to cover extra hours as needed. Georgie worked at Bunnies full time before having her four children and becoming bank staff.


At Bunnies we like to provide good training opportunities for school and college students. Anyone who attends Bunnies Daycare for work experience will be fully supervises and introduced to parents/carers when they attend.
